Diana Lola Posani

Diana Lola Posani, sound artist, vocal performer and Deep Listening facilitator certified by the Deep Listening Foundation. She performs internationally, writes in the journal A Row of Trees, from the Sonic Art Research Unit (SARU) – Oxford Brookes University and curates the sound art festival AKRIDA.
She is currently interested in working on the shared space between sound and poetic imagery through interdisciplinary works and sound poems.
Her work has been presented in such contexts as the Academy of Spain in Rome as part of the SHORT THEATRE programming, MADRE Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of the Twentieth Century and the Contemporary at Palazzo Fabroni, and the Venice Art Biennale 2024.
For years he has been conducting outreach work on the meaning of listening for music professionals and non-music professionals, holding seminars at the IUAV Master of Performing Arts in Venice, the MACRO museum of contemporary art in Rome, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
March 2023 saw the publication of her translation of the book “Deep Listening – The Sound Practice of a Composer” by Pauline Oliveros for Timeo Publishing House, and December 2023 was followed by the publication of “Quantum Listening” by Pauline Oliveros, for which she also edited the foreword.
 The publication of “Sonic Meditations” by Oliveros, for which she is writing the preface, is scheduled for November.
