Between 2018 and 2020, I acted as Lead Artist for the Lijiang Studio Residency Program in a Naxi village in Yunnan, China. From 2017 to 2018, I was an artist-in-residence at the Making Lab, Department for Design and Innovation, Tongji University.

Currently external investigator at the Centre for Dance Research in Coventry, my interests range across embodied and indigenous technologies (see https://lijiangstudio.org/solar-terms- ). Together with dancers and anthropologists,  I develop methodologies that acknowledge the reality of the technological landscape in which we are embedded and integrate lived ecological value systems as encountered in Lashihai.
